Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Design Engineer to join the team in Wolverhampton. You will be responsible for the detail design definition on New Product, Legacy and Development projects, and for implementing design modifications while managing engineering change requests.

You will collaborate with internal teams (manufacturing, quality, and supply chain) to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions into production and contribute to design reviews and problem-solving during

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex design solutions in aerospace or related industries.
• Experience designing welded/brazed fabrications is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of design life cycle and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Detail design definition for New Product, Legacy, and Development projects.
• Prepare technical documentation: design calculations, reports, test plans.
• Provide disposition on deviations to production drawings and root cause analysis.
