Job summary

Boeing in Burgess Hill, UK is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to ensure customer quality metrics are met and to lead customer quality reviews with internal and external teams to drive RCCA and address non-conforming events.

You will oversee RMA processes, develop quality plans for customer products, participate in supplier management, and collaborate across supply chain and customer interfaces; travel up to 10% within the UK & RoI.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA).
• Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel).
• Fluent in English on a highly technical and professional level.
• Solid experience with common ERP systems with SAP being highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status.
• Conducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organization.
• Leads technical calls with suppliers.
• Works in collaboration internally with supply chain and externally with the customer on supplier management work transfer process.
• Drives root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers and internal BDSI organization.
