Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Operator to set and run Okuma or Mazak Integrex machines, producing high-precision aerospace components.

The role requires hands-on CNC setting experience, the ability to read drawings, and a commitment to maintaining quality and efficiency in a specialist engineering environment. Overtime opportunities exist in a stable, long‑term aerospace-focused company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC setting and operating experience on Okuma or Mazak Integrex machinery.
• Experience in precision engineering environment with aerospace quality standards.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret tooling offsets.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate Okuma or Mazak Integrex CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Load/unload components, set tooling, offsets and workholding.
• Follow programmes and drawings, adjust machines for tool wear and quality.
• Perform first-off and in-process inspection using precision instruments.
• Maintain production and quality records and a clean, safe work area.
