Optima UK is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder Operator for a days-based, permanent role in the aerospace sector. The successful candidate will operate CNC grinding machinery, preferably Makino, to produce precision aerospace components in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC grinding machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances and using precision measuring equipment.
• A quality-focused approach with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC grinding machinery to produce precision aerospace components.
• Set up and adjust machinery, tooling, and parameters.
• Load/unload components and follow drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment and report issues.
• Maintain production and quality records and keep the workspace safe and organised.
