Optima UK Inc Ltd in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team for dayshift operations. The role is permanent with opportunities for training and progression.

You will operate CNC grinding machines to produce precision aerospace components, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. Makino experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC grinding machinery.
• Makino experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC grinding machinery to produce precision aerospace components.
• Set up and run machines safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload components and inspect parts.
• Follow engineering drawings, CNC programs and work instructions.
• Maintain production records and report quality issues.
