Job summary

Aimuk in Lichfield is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support high‑precision aerospace components. You will operate and set CNC machines across milling, turning, and EDM processes in a modern facility.

This role targets challenging, engine-critical parts and prototype development. Candidates should read drawings, use Fusion 360 CAM, and collaborate with engineers and QA to ensure tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC milling and/or turning.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Experience working to tight tolerances; micron-level is a plus.
• Willingness to learn Fusion 360 CAM.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools; CMM training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling, turning, and EDM machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
• Produce parts to tight tolerances with consistent accuracy.
• Support programming and toolpath optimisation in Fusion 360.
• Select tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.
