Job summary

Bromford Industries Limited is recruiting for a CNC Milling Setter/Operator in our Manufacturing Department. The role requires proven experience with CNC milling, setting and operating Heidenhain controls, and interpreting engineering drawings to tight tolerances.

We offer a structured early shift 06:00-14:30 Monday to Thursday and 06:00-10:30 on Fridays, with breaks as described, in a growing organisation committed to safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace standards preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• 3+ years in a similar role preferred.
• Experience setting and operating Heidenhain CNC milling machines.

Responsibilities

• Use and control CNC programs per procedures.
• Read and interpret CNC code for setup and operation.
• Understand setup parameters and datum/tool offsets.
• Set up machines with appropriate workholding and tooling.
• Edit programmes and complete machining to job cards.
• Maintain output levels as required.
