Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Derby is seeking a CNC Setter Operator (Milling) to join our aerospace engineering client. You will produce precision milled components for advanced aircraft systems, setting and operating 3/5 axis milling machines and working to tight tolerances.

There is a nights shift, Monday to Thursday, 6pm to 6am, on a permanent basis. The role offers a 4-day week, a salary of £59,787 per annum including shift premiums, and UK citizenship is required due to security restrictions.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or significant milling experience.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings with accuracy.
• Able to self-inspect work and ensure conformity.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate components with maximum efficiency.
• Set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Work to tight tolerances and self-check work.
• Work on your own initiative across manufacturing processes.
• Quality check all finished jobs.
• Clean and maintain CNC machines and area.
