Job summary

Accrofab Ltd in the East Midlands is recruiting for a CNC Milling Setter/Operator. You will set up and run Heidenhain controlled milling machines, reading and editing CNC programs to meet job cards and precision requirements.

The ideal candidate has proven experience, preferably in aerospace, with apprentice training and a history of delivering high-quality components in a low-volume, high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Apprentice-trained with relevant qualifications.
• Experience with Heidenhain controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC milling machines per procedures.
• Read and interpret CNC programs and data.
• Set up tooling and work holding as per job cards.
• Edit programmes and achieve required output.
• Maintain high precision in a low volume environment.
