Magellan Aerospace Blackpool is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate 3-, 4- and 5-axis machines on aluminium or titanium parts. The role involves setting up tools, deburring, and ensuring quality per customer specifications, with day shifts and 34.5 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of multi-axis experience, knowledge of FANUC/Siemens/Heidenhain controls, and a strong focus on health and safety within an aerospace environment.

Formación

• 2-3 axis machining experience with multi-axis capability.
• Recognised Engineering qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ) in Mechanical Engineering.
• HNC is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate 3-, 4- and 5-axis machines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and team.
• Carry out machine change-overs for own machines.
• Deburr components and clean holes.
• Accurate handover to next shift with current status.
• Ensure all job cards are filled correctly before next operation.
