Job summary

AMLR Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced 4/5 Axis CNC Miller to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire. The role offers day and night shifts with a 40.5 hour week and pay rates from £19.77 to £24.08 per hour, inclusive of shift premium.

You will work in a high-precision engineering environment manufacturing aerospace components. Key responsibilities include producing components using 4/5 axis milling, maintaining 5S standards, ensuring right‑first‑time

Qualifications

• Trained as Mechanical Apprentice or equivalent experience in 4/5 axis CNC milling.
• Experience in a precision engineering environment, ideally Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or subcontract machining.
• Solid knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-precision aerospace components using 4/5 axis CNC milling processes.
• Maintain health & safety and 5S standards in daily work.
• Produce components to required quality standards with right-first-time manufacture.
• Meet daily production plans and productivity targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Machine high-value materials such as Titanium, Inconel and Hardened Steel.
• Support continuous improvement activities and adapt to changing requirements.
