Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a CFD Engineer – Contractor to join the team in the UK. The contractor will deliver CFD modelling activities and analyses across current and upcoming aerospace programmes, within a small team and under project constraints.

The role suits a candidate with significant aerospace CFD experience and strong proficiency with ANSYS SPACECLAIM, DISCOVERY and FLUENT, including both steady and unsteady flows. Competitive rate and contracting terms apply.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
• Significant industry experience in aerospace CFD.
• Proficiency with ANSYS toolsets for high-quality analyses.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and external customers on a technical level.
• Develop new methodologies and conduct CFD analyses to high standards.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals with clear deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation per Quality Management System.
• Manage multiple tasks and deliver within agreed timescales.
