Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is recruiting for a Technical Manager for the Structural and Fluid Dynamics capability group, joining the senior management team and shaping strategy, tools and processes to meet project needs. The role balances hands‑on technical work with leadership and capability development.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
• Post‑graduate qualification to a Master’s degree or Doctorate (desirable).
• Membership of an Engineering Body (desirable).
• Chartered Engineer Status (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership or support on projects in the Structural and Fluid Dynamics domain.
• Manage annual budget and resources for capability development and processes.
• Ensure the right people, tools, and processes are in place to deliver.
• Contribute to business development activities and bids with technical solutions.
• Line manage engineers and support capability growth.
• Collaborate with other Technical Managers for cross‑functional alignment.
