Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited invites applications for a Computational Fluid Dynamics engineer (m/f/d) in Filton. The role covers internal and external aerodynamics CFD studies, including RANS/URANS/LES, meshing, post‑processing and script development.

You will engage with a transnational capability team across Europe and India to advance in‑house CFD capabilities. We seek 3 years of CFD experience, proficiency with ANSA/CODA, and strong Python or C++ skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics methods in aerodynamics.
• Good knowledge of CODA CFD chain use and ANSA Meshing tool.
• Mastering advanced object‑oriented languages like Python or C++ is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the industrialisation and validation of next‑gen CFD in‑house capabilities.
• Ensure full support for transnational end‑users on the end‑to‑end CFD process (ANSA Meshing, CODA CFD runs, post‑processing).
• Collaborate with Airbus Research & Development partners and stakeholder teams across Europe and India.
