Job summary

Stirling Dynamics is seeking a CFD Engineer on a contract basis to support aerospace programmes. The successful candidate will deliver CFD modelling activities using ANSYS toolsets and work within a small team to meet project milestones.

The role requires hands-on experience with external aerodynamics, subsonic and transonic regimes, and the ability to present technical reports and proposals to customers. UK citizenship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates ideally hold a related degree.

Responsibilities

• Interact with internal and external customers on a technical and programme level.
• Develop suitable new methodologies and conduct CFD analyses at a consistently high standard.
• Quickly acclimatise to current projects/programmes and progress ongoing tasks with existing methodologies.
• Preparation, presentation of technical reports and proposals.
• Support the preparation of project management documentation including quality and technical plans.
• Maintain the project documentation in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System.
• Manage multiple tasks and deliver within agreed timescales.
• Interact with other engineers and customers on a technical and project level.
