Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a CFD engineer to advance industrial CFD capabilities. You will perform advanced internal and external flow studies, including RANS, URANS and LES, on complex aircraft configurations, with responsibility for meshing, analysis and post-processing.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics methods in aerodynamics, transonic flows and propeller configurations.
• Good knowledge of CODA CFD chain use and ANSA Meshing tool.
• Mastering advanced object-oriented languages like Python or C++ is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced internal and external flow studies (RANS, URANS, LES) on complex aircraft configurations, including meshing, analysis and post-processing.
• Install, deploy and maintain CFD tools; develop and maintain Python scripts to automate workflows.
• Support industrialisation and validation of CFD capabilities and provide end-to-end CFD process support for transnational end-users.
