Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel in Sterling, UK is seeking an Aerospace Customer Care Specialist to ensure outstanding service in our Aerospace International team. The role focuses on delivering operational excellence, handling job orders, and keeping clients informed of flight, customs, and service updates.

The ideal candidate has aerospace experience and extensive freight-forwarding customer service know-how, with strong knowledge of airline routings and time zones, plus proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace preferred.
• Extensive customer service experience within Freight forwarding, preferably air logistics.
• Excellent knowledge of international and domestic airline routings, geography and time zones.
• Understanding of the Aviation industry and Time Critical shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
• Good written and verbal communications in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance customer services by ensuring procedures are followed and systems used correctly.
• Follow new systems procedures within the department.
• Answer calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Take job orders from clients including routing, service type and deadlines.
• Provide clients with continuous notifications including flight and customs delays, charges and resolutions.
• Familiarize with special services offered and present options to customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
• Ensure communication with service partners is up to date.
