Job summary

RTX is hiring in Wolverhampton for an onsite machinist role focusing on 5 axis machining of aluminium and stainless fabrications. You will set up, run and prove out programs with engineers, and perform dimensional checks to meet drawing tolerances.

We value experience with Doosan, Mazak or Matsuura machines, a strong eye for detail, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Benefits include excellent leave and healthcare options.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Experience setting up and running 5 axis machines.

Responsibilities

• Run 5 axis machining centres to produce aluminium and stainless fabrications.
• Set up and prove out programs with engineers.
• Carry out dimensional checks with designated inspection tools.
• Maintain housekeeping and support tool management.
