You will set up tooling, optimize processes, mentor operators, and deputise for the supervisor when needed. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a busy machining cell.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and programming 5-axis CNC milling.
• Strong GD&T understanding.
• Aerospace industry standards knowledge desirable.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Committed to EH&S and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling to optimize performance.
• Coordinate resources to meet throughput targets.
• Mentor operators and provide guidance on best practices.
• Depose for supervisor during absence and participate in planning/quality meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress.
