Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone offers a one-year Aero Development Tools Student Placement starting July 2027. You’ll support the creation and enhancement of software tools used in aerodynamic development workflows, collaborating with aerodynamicists, CFD engineers, and software developers.

The role develops programming, data visualization, and understanding of aerodynamic simulations, contributing to tool usability, validation, and documentation within a fast-paced Formula One team.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university
• Strong programming skills
• Understanding of aerodynamic principles and simulation workflows is beneficial
• Experience with data visualisation and software development tools
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September

The Role

As an Aero Development ToolsStudent Placement,you’llsupport the creation and enhancement of software tools used in aerodynamic development workflows.You’llwork closely with aerodynamicists, CFD engineers, and software developers to ensure tools are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with engineering needs.
