Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone is offering a 1-year student placement in Simulation Development. You will support the development, testing, and deployment of simulation software used across technical departments, working with engineers, software developers and performance analysts to ensure tools are accurate and efficient.

The role requires current study in a relevant engineering or computer science field, strong programming skills, and a passion for motorsport.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university.
• Strong programming skills.
• Good understanding of simulation techniques and numerical methods; knowledge of vehicle dynamics desirable but not essential.
• Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
• Passion for motorsport and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• You must have the right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available.
• Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in September.

The Role

During the placement,you’llsupport the development, testing, and deployment of simulation software used across the technical departments.You’llwork closely with simulation engineers, software developers, and performance analysts to ensure tools areaccurate, efficient, and user-friendly.
