Job summary

PGL is hiring a Chef to join our busy catering team at our UK centres. You’ll prepare and cook nutritious meals for guests, handle stock ordering, cost control and coaching junior staff under the Head Chef.

This part-year, permanent contract offers fair pay (£32,083.53 per year) with generous leave, volunteering days, and flexible late-night shifts. You’ll work in a safety-conscious, inclusive environment with opportunities to develop your catering career.

Qualifications

• Experienced caterer, ideally in high-volume environment.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene & allergen handling.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage time and workload under pressure.
• Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and cooking for guests.
• Stock ordering and organisation; cost control.
• Coach and supervise junior team members.
