Job summary

PGL is seeking a Chef at our Weymouth centre to prepare and cook nutritious meals for our guests. You’ll handle food preparation, cooking, stock ordering, cost control and coaching junior team members, reporting to the Head Chef.

Qualifications

• Experienced caterer in high-volume environment.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and allergen handling.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time and workload.
• Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for guests.
• Handle stock ordering and maintain kitchen organisation.
• Control costs and coach junior team members.
• Work late shifts with Fridays/Saturdays off most weeks outside peak season.
