Job summary

Halfords Autocentres Watford seeks a skilled Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic. You will service and repair vehicles, perform diagnostics, and handle complex tasks such as clutch or timing belt replacements and electrical diagnostics.

The role requires Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served), plus a full UK driving licence with ≤9 points. A competitive base salary with uncapped bonus awaits.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience in diagnostic work and complex repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repair and replacement work on vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics and tackle complex repairs (engine, electricals, brakes, steering).
• Handle tasks like clutch and timing belt replacements as needed.
