Halfords in Luton is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic. You’ll be skilled in servicing and repair work, with the ability to carry out diagnostics and more complex tasks such as clutch or timing belt replacements.

You must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time‑served experience, plus a full UK driving licence (≤9 points). We offer 5.6 weeks of annual leave, staff discounts and an uncapped monthly bonus scheme.

Competenze

• Must hold Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time‑served experience.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing brakes, steering/suspension, and engine issues.

Mansioni

• Perform servicing, repair and replacement tasks on vehicles.
• Carry out complex work including clutches, timing belts, diagnostics.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, steering and suspension systems.
