Job summary

Halfords' National Tyres and Autocare is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic in Leigh to service, diagnose and repair vehicles, including complex tasks like clutches, timing belts and electrics.

The role requires Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience, plus a full UK driving licence (max 9 points). You will benefit from an uncapped bonus scheme and 5.6 weeks' annual leave, plus staff discounts and pension options.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served equivalent.
• Full UK driving license with no more than 9 points.
• Experience diagnosing brakes, steering, suspension, engine and complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair/replacement work.
• Carry out complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements.
• Diagnose electrics, brakes, steering and suspension systems.
