Qualifications

• Experience in advanced vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
• High level of accuracy in administration and documentation.
• MOT testing qualification (or willingness to support).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced faults using OEM diagnostic platforms and tools.
• Perform major mechanical repairs including engine and gearbox replacements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
• Use specialist equipment for accurate testing (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, smoke testers).
• Complete final road tests, re-calibrations and system resets.
• Accurately document all findings and repairs for warranty submissions.
• Liaise with customers to explain diagnostics and build trust.
• Support MOT testing and Pre-Delivery Inspections when needed.
• Mentor junior technicians and share best practices.
• Maintain workshop standards and compliance with DVSA and Health & Safety.
