Job summary

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced faults using OEM diagnostic platforms and tools
• Perform major mechanical repairs including engine and gearbox replacements
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards
• Use oscilloscope, multimeter, and smoke testers for testing
• Complete final road tests, re-calibrations and system resets
• Accurately document all findings and repairs for warranty submissions
• Liaise with customers to explain diagnostics and build trust
• Support MOT testing and Pre-Delivery Inspections
• Mentor junior technicians and share best practices
• Maintain workshop standards and DVSA/Health & Safety compliance
