Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is assisting a client to recruit a Light Vehicle Mechanic in Peterborough. The role involves high-quality diagnostics, servicing and repair work on a range of vehicles, with a focus on first-time fixes and a professional customer service approach.

The ideal candidate has Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or time served) and solid experience in a main dealer or premium workshop. EV experience is preferred; MOT licence is optional.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Time Served Experience would be considered.
• EV experience is preferable.
• MOT testing licence preferred but not essential.
• Good diagnostic and repair skills.
• Experience in a main dealer or high-quality independent workshop.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostics, servicing and repair work on a range of vehicles.
