Job summary

Motorpoint Ltd is seeking a skilled Warranty Technician in Coventry to diagnose advanced faults, perform complex repairs and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards. You will document findings clearly for warranty submissions and communicate technical details to customers to build trust.

Qualifications

• IMI Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.
• Proven experience in advanced vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
• MOT testing qualification or willingness to support in this area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve advanced faults using OEM diagnostic platforms and tools.
• Perform major mechanical repairs including engine and gearbox replacements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
• Accurately document all findings and repairs for warranty submissions.
• Liaise with customers to explain diagnostics and build trust.
• Mentor junior technicians and support DVSA/Health & Safe standards.
