Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a Waking Nights Advanced Support Worker in Inverness to provide supportive care to a gentleman with autism, learning disability and anxiety. The role requires a compassionate, reliable person who can maintain routines, build trust, and deliver high-quality support during night shifts.

You will join a forward-thinking charity that funds development, offers training, and pays DBS/PVG costs.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Social Care and experience in mental health
• Experience with autism and forensic backgrounds
• Able to connect with people and support independent living

Responsibilities

• Help this gentleman with routines, structure and consistency to keep him regulated and safe.

This gentlemanstruggles with his mental health, with diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Mild-Moderate Learning Disability, Anxiety, and obsessive -compulsive disorder. So is looking for understanding and positive people to join his team to help him navigate his challenges and live an amazing, happy and the Best Life Bolder. Abackground in supporting people with autism, obsessive -compulsive disorder would be desirable.

As an Advanced support worker, you will help this gentleman with his routines, experiences in structure and ensuring consistency which is very important as he needs to feel regulated and safe. You will need to be highly supportive and trustworthy with a skill set that can build positive relationships which will be important in maintaining his wellbeing.

He enjoys physical activities, especially badminton and walking so if you share these interests then please get in touch as you would be a great fit! This gentleman also values his family and enjoys spending time with them.

About you:

The idealcandidatewill have a Level 3 in Social Careandstrong experience inmental health, autismand forensic background.Ifyou do not have a qualification,you will need to have experience in social care.

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supportingpeople to liveindependently.You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
