About the role:

The C&FH Advanced Social Worker plays a pivotal role in guiding, coaching, and sharing expertise with Child and Family Help Practitioners to deliver high-quality interventions aligned with Achieving for Children (AfC)’s assessment, planning, and intervention framework. You will collaborate with C&FH Practitioners to conduct comprehensive whole-family assessments, ensuring the well‑being of children and young people is central to all decision‑making processes. The Advanced Social Worker is responsible for safeguarding children in coordinated efforts with multi‑agency partnerships to achieve the best outcomes. Prompt response to significant events and management of s47 investigations are also key responsibilities.
