Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to work with a high degree of autonomy in urgent care. You will assess and manage complex cases, interpret investigations, and lead clinical decision‑making while supporting patient flow.
You will mentor colleagues, contribute to governance, audit and research initiatives, and collaborate with primary care and wider system partners to ensure seamless patient care.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will work with a high degree of autonomy whilst contributing to the leadership, education, research and quality improvement agendas that underpin advanced clinical practice. You will:
We are seeking experienced Advanced Practitioners from nursing, paramedic, pharmacy or allied health professional backgrounds who are passionate about urgent and unscheduled care.
You must be registered with the relevant professional body (NMC, HCPC, GPhC or equivalent) and hold, or be working towards, a Master's qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice. You will demonstrate autonomous practice, advanced clinical reasoning, leadership and a commitment to continuous learning, service improvement and compassionate, person‑centred care. An independent prescribing qualification is desirable.
