Job summary

OneMedical Group in Sheffield Walk-in Centre is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work at the top of your scope, autonomously managing minor illness and supporting urgent care delivery with strong clinical governance. This role offers a 7-day rota, hours 08:00–22:30, and a salary up to £65,000 FTE (pro‑rata for part‑time).

Qualifications

• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Level 7) with recognised modules in advanced physical assessment skills, minor illness, disease management.
• Current NMC registration with no restrictions.
• Significant urgent care and/or primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor illness.
• Utilise advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing skills.
• Identify red flags and upscale appropriately in line with clinical governance.
• Support patient flow in a busy urgent care setting and contribute to safety, quality and teamwork.

This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role within a supportive, clinically led environment.

Main Duties

• Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor illness
• Utilise advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing skills
• Identify red flags and upscale appropriately in line with clinical governance
• Support patient flow in a busy urgent care setting
  MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or or Relevant ACP courses at Level 7 including recognised modules in Advanced Physical Assessment Skills (essential), Minor Illness/Injuries, Disease Management, etc.
• Independent / Non-Medical Prescriber (V300)
• Current NMC registration with no restrictions, Significant experience in urgent care and/or primary care
• Confident, autonomous management of minor illness
