Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is seeking an ANP/ACP to review and clinically assess online patient requests across our practices. You will use advanced clinical judgement to determine appropriate care pathways and may provide direct treatment, arrange further assessment or escalate urgent cases.

You will collaborate with GPs, allied professionals and admin colleagues to ensure safe, coordinated care. The role supports autonomous decision-making and continual CPD within a growing primary care network.

Qualifications

• Current professional registration with the relevant regulatory body.
• Advanced clinical practice qualifications and experience.
• Excellent clinical assessment and risk-management skills.
• Ability to manage a range of presentations and escalate when needed.
• Confident in using digital systems to manage online requests.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess and prioritise incoming online patient requests.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning to determine the most appropriate care pathway.
• Manage suitable presentations directly through online platform within scope.
• Identify red flags, urgent presentations and safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely escalation.
• Arrange telephone or face-to-face assessment, investigations and referrals as clinically indicated.
• Provide clear clinical advice, safety-netting and self-care guidance.
• Work collaboratively with GPs, other clinicians, AHPs and administrative teams.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and governance compliance.
• Contribute to improving triage pathways and patient experience.
• Maintain safe practice through CPD and clinical supervision.
