Job summary

Operose Health is recruiting an ANP/ACP to deliver high-quality primary care at Broad Oak Medical Practice. You will perform initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care, working closely with the GP team to meet patient needs and uphold policies.

We seek an experienced nurse with primary care exposure, NMC registration, and progress towards non-medical prescriber status; MSc Level 7 accreditation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Advanced clinical practice toward non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential.
• Level 7/MSc practitioner preferred or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibility

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

The Ideal Candidate

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
