Job summary

Operose Health in Basingstoke is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ANP/ACP) for maternity cover, 30 hours per week, with salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.

You will provide patient assessments, diagnoses, and care within the general practice, lead nursing delivery, and work with the practice team to meet patient needs while upholding policy and professional standards.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred, ACP status considered with accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs, supporting policy delivery and providing nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.

Package Description

• Annual salary of up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
