Job summary

SuperCare Residential is hiring an Advanced Behaviour Complex Coach (Residential Support Worker) to support 12-16 year olds with highly complex emotional and behavioural needs in a children's home. You will build trusted relationships, manage distress, follow care and risk plans, and maintain safeguarding standards.

This is a high‑intensity role demanding calm decision‑making and professional boundaries. You’ll lead through practice, support education and life skills, and participate in

Qualifications

A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is preferred or funded by SuperCare.
Experience supporting young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
Trauma-informed approach with strong boundaries and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Build therapeutic relationships with young people.
Respond to high‑risk situations calmly and confidently.
Follow care plans, PBS plans and risk assessments.
Maintain routines, boundaries and safeguarding standards.
Lead by example and model high practice on shift.
Complete records, handovers and incident reports.
