Job summary

SuperCare Residential is seeking an Advanced Behaviour Complex Coach (Residential Support Worker) for a Children’s Home. The role offers £18.17 - £21.34 per hour on days or waking nights, with permanent employment and funded level 3/5 qualifications.

You will support young people aged 12-16 with ASD, trauma, and complex needs, leading through practice and maintaining professional boundaries on shift.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is preferred; SuperCare will fund it if not held.
• Experience in residential childcare or children’s homes is desirable.
• Trauma-informed approach and ability to set clear professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Build therapeutic relationships with young people aged 12–16.
• Provide high‑intensity support during distress or dysregulation.
• Follow care plans, PBS plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain routines, boundaries and safeguarding standards.
• Lead by example and model high practice on shift.
• Participate in activities, trips and community experiences.
• Complete accurate records and handovers.
