Your new company: We are looking for support workers with the right values and attitudes to join a large provider of care in South Wales. They provide support to adults with learning or physical disabilities across Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

Your new role: The role of support worker involves supporting the delivery of care to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and additional health needs. Responsibilities include providing personal and physical care as per individual care plans, administering medication, liaising with external professionals, and facilitating access to community activities. You will also help maintain and improve individuals' wellbeing through participation in arts and crafts, sports, shopping trips, holidays, and other activities. The role operates on a flexible rota, including short and long days, with shifts covering days, nights, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

What you will need to succeed: No prior experience is required. However, you should be committed and motivated towards personal and professional development, willing to undertake training, capable of completing domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning, and able to create a safe and comfortable environment. A calm, non-judgmental manner and the ability to handle stressful situations are essential. You must have a full UK driving licence and be flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, sleep-ins, and weekends.
