Community Lives Consortium is a Registered Charity and Domiciliary Care Agency that provides support for people with a learning or physical disability to live the life they choose in their own home within the communities of Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot. We are currently looking for flexible and committed Support Workers to provide a quality service to the people we support.
Hours per week: Variety of contracts available up to 40 hours per week.

We are currently seeking Support Workers who enjoy caring for adults with learning or physical disabilities while maintaining their dignity, safety, and independence. Responsibilities include cooking, housekeeping, accompanying clients to social and recreational activities, and providing personal care. Each individual we support is unique, and you will be expected to work professionally and safely.
Support Workers will promote independence, help develop new skills and friendships, and encourage clients to enjoy a full life in the community.
Shifts are on a rota basis, including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights, public holidays, and sleep-in duties.
We offer comprehensive training, including the opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, free of charge, to equip you with the skills needed to deliver excellent service.
A full current driving licence is essential as the role requires travel. If you own a vehicle used for work, Business Class 1 vehicle insurance is also required. Evidence of these will need to be provided.
Holiday entitlement starts at 29 days (pro-rata) per year, increasing to 33 days after five years of continuous service.
This position is subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and other pre-employment checks, including health declaration, proof of right to work in the UK, employment history, and references.
No prior experience is required as we provide full training. The key qualities are genuine care and empathy for others. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Candidates must be 18 or over and understand the role's responsibilities and how to follow instructions.
