Join our established team of passionate, enthusiastic, and committed Social Work and Social Care Practitioners. The Fenland Team operates from Hereward Hall in March, and the East Cambridgeshire Team is based at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely.
You will manage a caseload, with experience in Safeguarding Adult Enquiries, assessments, and reviews, especially with older people. Good organisational skills, record-keeping, and teamwork are essential. Experience working within tight timescales and commissioning cost-effective, personalised support is also required. Managing Safeguarding under Making Safeguarding Personal is part of the role and can be developed further.
You will support the development of evidence-based practices in risk enablement, safeguarding, and legislation such as the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Court of Protection. Providing structured supervision and supporting professional development are key responsibilities.

You will collaborate with partner agencies to support adults with care needs and their carers, providing strengths-based assessments and interventions that promote independence and informed choices. Opportunities for professional development, such as becoming a Practice Educator or Best Interest Assessor, are available.
You should have experience working with individuals with complex needs, a strong understanding of relevant legislation, and IT skills. You must be passionate about social justice, registered with Social Work England, hold a full driver’s license, and be flexible and willing to learn.
