Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Qualified Social Worker for Birmingham's Adult Safeguarding Team. You will collaborate with partners to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in the community.

The role focuses on thorough assessments, safeguarding planning, professional guidance, and compliant record-keeping, with opportunities for development and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised social work qualification (degree) or equivalent.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant policies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults at risk and determine support needs.
• Develop and implement safeguarding plans with service users and families.
• Provide expert advice to colleagues ensuring best safeguarding practices.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions and outcomes.
• Participate in multi‑agency meetings and safeguarding investigations as required.
