Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in Blackburn, UK. The role offers an attractive £30.00 hourly rate with flexible full-time or part-time arrangements.

You will conduct safeguarding enquiries, complete assessments, and collaborate with health, police, housing, and legal services to safeguard adults at risk, ensuring person-centred outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work and registered with Social Work England.
• Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to adult safeguarding practice.

Responsibilities

• Undertake statutory safeguarding enquiries and investigations.
• Complete strengths-based assessments, risk assessments, support planning and reviews.
• Coordinate safeguarding responses with health, police, housing and legal teams.
• Provide professional advice on safeguarding matters to colleagues and partner organisations.
