Job summary

Everpool Recruitment invites healthcare professionals to join our PIP Functional Assessor team in England, with hybrid working options across the country. Roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with no nights or weekends and a comprehensive training programme.

You will assess how health conditions affect daily living and work, conducting telephone, video and in-person assessments. Competitive salary starts at £47,000 rising to £49,000 with progression and a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration for 1 year or more.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.

Responsibilities

PIP Functional Assessor

Starting at £47,000

Increases to £48,000 after 6 months (if performance objectives are met), then again after 12 months to £49,000 plus eligibility for the bonus structure scheme (3 assessments per day)

Roles are subject to availability and service requirements in each geographical area. Ideally, candidates should be open to either PIP or WCA. Where possible, we may be able to accommodate a preference, although this cannot be guaranteed.

Full training provided

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 12-week training programme, covering:

• Assessment techniques
• DWP guidelines and requirements
• Report writing
• Functional assessment skills
• Role-specific training and support

You don't need previous Functional Assessor experience — your clinical experience and transferable assessment skills are what matter.
