Job summary

Blue Cross UK is seeking an Adoptions Coordinator in Sheffield to ensure fast, safe adoption of pets from our rehoming unit. You will work with welfare staff to match pets with loving homes and provide post-adoption support as needed.

The role is permanent and part-time (18.75 hours/week) with a two-week rota including public holidays, based at our Sheffield location. Experience in pet welfare and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in pet welfare environments.
• Delivered high-level customer service in fast-paced settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent at accurately recording information and conversations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the adoption process is thorough, efficient and follows internal guidelines.
• Match assessed pets to new homes quickly and safely.
• Collaborate with Pet Welfare Assistants and other Adoptions Coordinators across the network.
• Provide post-adoption support when required.
