Blue Cross is seeking a Pet Welfare Assistant for off-site services in Sheffield. You will support animals in foster or crisis care, ensuring welfare standards and timely assessments for new homes, while delivering friendly, client-focused service to foster carers and stakeholders.

The role is permanent, part-time, 18.75 hours weekly on a two-week rota, with shifts across Week 1 and Week 2 including public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with domestic animals or in animal welfare.
• Experience recording information clearly for others.
• Customer-focused with high satisfaction experience.
• Organisational and administrative skills including computerised systems.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to demonstrate Blue Cross values.

Responsabilités

• Manage a specific number of pet cases in off-site care.
• Ensure welfare standards and rehabilitation plans are followed.
• Assess pets for new homes quickly.
• Provide excellent customer service as the public face of Blue Cross.
• Work 18.75 hours per week over a two-week rota including public holidays.
