Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council’s Adopt Thames Valley Regional Adoption Agency seeks a qualified social worker for the Permanence Support Team. You will provide post-order support to adopters, children and families, within a friendly, committed team delivering strong outcomes.

You will assist Managers with operations, ensure safeguarding, and apply your assessment, analytical and reporting skills to develop services in line with children's rights. Flexible working is considered.

Qualifications

• Three years post-qualifying experience in adoption or relevant settings (Children's Services or Family Placement).
• Excellent assessment, analytical and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Managers in operational management of the Permanence Support Team.
• Ensure services are delivered in line with Adopt Thames Valley policies and Children's Rights.
• Safeguarding and Child Protection policies followed and any concerns raised accordingly.
