Job summary

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Permanence Support Team, providing post-order support to adopters and families across the ATV region. You will help organise events and peer groups, supporting children, young people and birth families with safeguarding and rights-based approaches.

The role emphasises collaborative teamwork, flexible working, and commitment to high-quality adoption services within Oxfordshire County Council.

Qualifications

  • Experience in adoption or events coordination is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the needs of adoptive families and children.
  • Computer literacy with ability to use office software and databases.

Responsibilities

  • Support, organise and attend events and support groups across the Adopt Thames Valley region.
  • Maintain the continuous development of our peer support offer.
  • Assist the Team Managers, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Ensure services to users are delivered following policies and guidance.
  • Ensure services are planned and delivered to maximise participation and reflect Children's Rights.
