Job summary

Activate Learning is seeking an Advice and Admissions Adviser to greet learners and visitors, offer guidance on courses and services, and support interview and offer processes at City of Oxford College. You will work in the college's advice centre or reception, with training provided and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

This permanent, part-time role (26 hours per week, term-time) includes reception duties, with shifts Tue/Thu 16:30–21:00 and Sat 9:00–13:00, plus remaining hours

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy environment with targets.
• Excellent communication with learners, staff and visitors.
• Great people skills and a positive, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for learners and visitors.
• Provide guidance on courses and services offered at the college.
• Arrange interviews, confirm offers and liaise with faculty to convert applicants into enrolments.
• Cover reception duties as required at the City of Oxford College reception during shifts.
